The Campbell Chamber puts on two major festivals annually.
Held in May, Boogie Music Festival revolves around live music from the hottest local bands. It began in 1978 as the Prune Festival and morphed into Boogie in the early 2000s. Boogie continues to be voted one of the South Bay’s best festivals by Metro readers.
Oktoberfest has been celebrated in Campbell since 1994 and is the best Bavarian festival in the Bay Area. German food, beer, and music along with stein holding and best dressed contests draw festival-goers from far and wide, including Germany! Campbell Oktoberfest is also repeatedly voted a Metro’s Best event year after year.
Boogie and Oktoberfest are held in Downtown Campbell along East Campbell Avenue and each event draws 40,000 or more attendees from all over the Bay Area.
