Special Events in Campbell
Throughout the year the Campbell Chamber of Commerce Sponsors several special events-- celebrating our local community, our origins and our business leaders. Getting to these events is easy. Special events include the following celebrations.
BOOGIE ON THE BAYOU
This two day event (third weekend of May) is a premier festival attracting between 50, 000 - 60,000 people. Food, Drinks, Arts & Crafts, Kiddie Korner, Live Entertainment and Commercial Row bring thousands of people out to enjoy the day. The festival takes place in Historic Downtown Campbell.
ANNUAL CITIZEN-OF-THE-YEAR AND CELEBRATE CAMPBELL DINNER and AUCTION
Held in March this year, this evening attracts over 200 attendees to share in celebrating the community and acknowledging outstanding individuals and businesses.
GOLF TOURNAMENT
This tournament is held in August at a selected Golf Course. Enjoy a day of golf, which includes lunch and dinner, tee prizes, and raffle prizes.
OKTOBERFEST
This festival is growing in popularity! Over 40,000 people are expected to attend and enjoy the German theme which is carried out through the two day event (third weekend in October). Authentic German beer, food and music create a real Germanic atmosphere that also includes Arts & Crafts, Kinder Platz and also a Commercial Row. It is held in Historic Downtown Campbell.
TOY PROGRAM
A fundraising sponsored by the Chamber and County Fire Department to raise funds to buy toys for Christmas for underprivileged kids of Campbell, as well as, Eastfield Ming Quong, a family counseling service and home for emotionally disturbed children. It is held the first Thursday in December at the Sonoma Chicken Coop in downtown Campbell.
CAMPBELL SHOP & DINE EXPO
Here's an excellent chance to meet a low of potential customers and clients and let them know that you're open for business and ready to fill their needs! Often people have no idea where to go to purchase a specific product or service, but if they spot it at your booth at the Shop & Dine Expo they're set to go!
The 7th Annual Shop & Dine Business Expo will be held on Wednesday February 29, 2012 with an invitation only networking group from 4:00pm to 6:00pm and open to the public 6:00pm to 7:30pm at Villa Ragusa. Contact the chamber office to sign up or for more information 408-378-6252
